wow. i envy you your mom. unless it's something short or purely descriptive, i never showed mine anything - i'm pretty sure my gay-guns-and-gods stuff would make her really nervous. and yeah...that feeling of having gone too long without writing something...like going too long without a smoke. damn, why am i so squirmy and anxious?
Yeah, I was a little nervous to show her too much on Nasaulis and Dannan because I was a little worried about how she'd take all of the sexual banter but I should have known better. I finally just sat her down at the computer and let her read a ton of different shorts about the entire crew and after she finished she told me Nasaulis was actually her favorite character. Sometimes I forget how amazing she really is.
I've started to think that the only people who really understand how much crazy is implied when someone says that they are a writer, are other writers. Even at work, my desk ends up covered in little yellow post-its with bits of ideas scrawled across them that I have to remind myself to clean up and take home every week.
The other day one of my coworkers and I were talking about bags and purses and she was complaining how big hers have to be. I laughed and went to get mine, which is twice the size of hers. When she asked me what I was carrying that I needed something that big, I opened it up and pulled out four notebooks and a notepad... each one designated for a different story.
And so the crazy continues.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
